Description

Villambistia is a small village located in the province of Burgos, in the autonomous community of Castilla y León, Spain. Historically, Villambistia has been a resting point for pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago due to its strategic location between the towns of Belorado and Atapuerca. The village has a rich history dating back to the 10th century, when it was founded by the repopulation efforts of the Kingdom of Castile during the Reconquista.
